How we use your information
This notice explains what personal information Salience collects when you use this website or contact us, why, and what your rights are. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
Who we are
Salience Group Ltd is the controller of your personal information. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17249184, with our registered office at 7 Parkwood Close, Alfreton, DE55 7PZ. For anything about this notice or your information, email NikIronsideWood@salienceintelligence.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us, we collect the details you choose to give: your name, organisation, work email, role and the content of your message.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details so it can deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your enquiry details to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss and prepare for working together. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without your consent, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, handles contact form submissions and runs Turnstile, a check on the contact form that uses browser and device signals to tell people from automated spam.
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which provides our email.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a working relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred. To make a request, email us at the address above. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
